CranioSacral Therapy

Troy is a level II Certified Upledger CranioSacral Therapist who has been practicing since 1992. He works on people with all conditions, with a specialization in connective tissue disorders. This subtle therapy produces remarkable results without pain, messy oil or disrobing.

Many forms of bodywork therapy are available and many more are developed/discovered regularly. At Fitness Pros Battle Creek , we use the technique or techniques that offer the greatest benefit to you, the client. We specialize in three different therapeutic techniques: Craniosacral Therapy, TUINA Therapy, and Trigger Point Therapy. These techniques have been shown to be most effective for most of our clients over the years. Each client is evaluated and the appropriate techniques are utilized.

TUI NA (Traditional Chinese Medicine – TCM)

In 1997, Troy was the only therapist from Michigan to travel to Beijing China and Work with the Chinese Olympic Team on TCM. Troy was further honored to be the only therapist selected to work directly with the head team physician of the Chinese Olympic Gymnastics and Track & Field Teams on the worst medical cases. This therapy provides relief from pain and dysfunction through traditional Chinese Manual Medical Techniques. While the pressure is greater in TCM than Craniosacral Therapy, the technique still requires no messy oils or disrobing.

Trigger Point Therapy

Troy has been providing individuals pain relief through trigger point therapy since 1986. This technique involves finding trigger points – tender spots throughout the body – and applying appropriate pressure to reduce and eliminate pain. Minimal to no oil is used and disrobing is not necessary.
